The nozzle screen kit contains six (6) specially designed screens protecting most unwanted dust and dirt particles from entering the detection of the Itemiser DX. The use of a screen on the Itemiser DX versus the membrane on previous Morpho Detection, Inc trace detection equipment coupled with significant changes in the flow through the system's detector loop allow for a much improved detection sensitivity. Under normal conditions, the nozzle screen should be replaced during monthly maintenance.
